12 Smart Ways to Improve
Your Stomach Health

Without good stomach health your life will not feel as good as it should.

I speak from my own experience, because I went for almost two years with stomach problems.

Each morning I was unable to eat. I suffered from cold sweats, nausea and diarrhea.

The doctors had no clue why this was happening and they said that it was all in my head (thank you doctors).

This led me to start researching alternative ways of healing my stomach. I am glad to say that today I have a perfectly functioning stomach.

With all that said, let's get to ways you can improve your wellbeing.

  1. Saying No to Unhealthy Food
    This was the first thing I discovered when I started researching how I could improve my stomach health. I read about people who stopped eating processed foods containing sugar, bad fats, additives, sweeteners and unhealthy ingredients. I felt an improvement in my health almost immediately after throwing all that stuff out!

  2. Fruits & Vegetables
    I started adding in more fruits and vegetables. More fruits at first because I really hated vegetables. I mostly just juiced my vegetables and forced them down. It seems like common sense to say that you should eat more fruits and vegetables, it was common sense for me too, but I just wasn't doing it. When I started eating over one pound of fruits and vegetables each and every day I started feeling A LOT better. You could easily make some healthy fruit smoothies with some greens in them.

  3. Vitamins & Minerals
    Today our food is depleted and getting enough vitamins and minerals is hard. That is why I recommend that you look into buying the best multivitamin. I use a multivitamin from Xtend-Life, it is very high quality.

  4. Digestive Enzymes
    When you're having stomach problems, it is safe to say that your stomach is not functioning optimally. You might want to try digestive enzymes which aid your stomach in digesting your food. These supplements can usually be found at your local health food store, and they tend to fairly inexpensive.

  5. Probiotics
    A probiotic supplement adds healthy bacteria to your digestive tract which will boost its function. When I started taking a probiotic supplement my stomach immediately felt better.   6. Chewing
    I had huge problems with this and I still do. I pay the price when I forget to chew properly. When we chew our food our salivary glands excrete digestive enzymes which help to break down the food. If you don't chew enough your stomach, small intestine and large intestine get to work overtime!

  7. Smaller Meals
    This goes hand in hand with chewing. When I have a large meal in front of me, I feel the need to eat faster, but when I eat smaller meals, I miraculously start chewing more and taking my time. Eating smaller meals will also help you in losing weight if that is your goal.

  8. Exercise
    You've heard it a thousand times, and you'll hear it again. Exercise is important for your whole body. I've always been pretty athletic, but when I started having stomach problems I stopped exercising and it just made everything worse. I'm a big fan of going to the gym and building muscle. Find your thing and stick to it!

  9. Meditation
    Stress affects our body and immune system. You do not have to meditate for a long time, 10 minutes a day is enough, and will get you started. After a few weeks you'll start to feel calmer and less bothered by problems. I didn't see a direct impact on my stomach health, but meditation really calmed me down. I tend to worry and stress everyone out.

  10. Juice Feasting
    After all my diet and habit changes I read about juice feasting. It is basically juice fasting, but you are allowed to drink as much fresh juice as you want. I did not do the whole 92-days. I only went for about 2 weeks, but I noticed a big improvement in my digestion and I no longer had problems with gas and constipation.

  11. Parasite Cleansing

  12. Colon Cleansing
    Colon cleansing was the last thing on my list and it improved my stomach health even more. I went from having one bowel movement every other day to having three to four bowel movements everyday.
