My First Enema Was in the Hospital

by Anonymous

I was 15 yrs old in the hospital for minor surgery, this was 1965. At the end of visiting hours the nurses would prep for the next day. After the visitors left, I was sitting on the toilet and there was a knock at the door.

It was the nurse and she said that she had 2 suppositories for me to take.

I just finished going and thought I don't need the suppositories. I finished in the bathroom and walked over to the bed and told the nurse, that I just went and did not need the suppositories.

She explained that the doctor wanted me cleaned out so I would not have to go on the way to surgery, there was a little cup with 2 suppositories sitting on the cart.

She asked me if I had ever had been given suppositories? I said no, and she said just lay face down and it would only take a second to put them in. I then told her again that I just went and didn't need them.

She then asked, you're not going to take the suppositories? And I told her that I just went and didn't have to.

She then said put on the hospital gown that I would be going to surgery in, which I did, and she said she would be back.

I was sitting in bed watching 3 channel black and white TV and about 20 minutes later she came back in the room pushing a cart with a towel over the contents.

She then said that on second thought she thought I needed an enema.

When everything was said and done, I went to the toilet, and when I got back I got suppositories to prep me for surgery.

That was almost 45 years ago, and I think enemas are a great way to improve our health and keep our bodies functioning properly.

This WAS a good story, but I would think that after an experience like that you'd be traumatized for life.

Hospital Enemas

In my opinion the hospital enema is the best thing that could ever happen to a patient. Enemas clear out the bowel and the patient feels better overall even when Surgery is recommended.
Too bad enemas in the hospital seems to be a thing of the past. A 3 quart enema or 1200ltrs will clean you out. Its better than those
Fleet enemas that everyone raves about.

My enema

I also received enemas in a hospital room. My last was a prep for an exam. I knew it was coming but was still embarrassed by the idea
A nurse' said entered and explained what she and the nurse would be doing. She told me to get up on all fours and put my head on the pillow. A few minutes later she and the nurse came Bach with the equipment. After lubricating my rectum one of them inserted the hose and the fluid began to flow. It's an embarrassing procedure but was made worse when I was told to roll over and hold the enema. The nurse was a neighbor

Hospital enema

I was in the outpatient area for tests. They took me to a double room and told me take everything off and put on the gown. Then two women, a MD & PA came in. They took info and the PA said sh'd be back for my enema. Since the room was empty she never pulled the curtains. On the third enema with me on all fours head on pillow totally exposed again another nurse brought a woman patient in. My nurse was in the midst of the enema and couldn't pull the curtain. The other nurse told the woman to put on the gown and then puller the screen around her
The nurse giving me the enema said I guess you're really embarrassed. The other woman said don't be I enjoyed the show

My internist gives me enemas twice a year. By now I should be used to it. She's done it for the last 6 years. However it's still embarrassing. It's embarrassing getting into position but once it begins there's no embarrassment just fear about holding it in

She allows my wife in the exam room whoever she asks. Being naked from the waist down before 3 clothed woman is intimidating My wife finds it very funny

The last time my wife was there the doctor and her PA did something new. My last two enemas were given with me in stirrups. What a helpless and humiliating position. After they put my feet in stirrups and spread them I think the doctor took too long talking with my wife while I was spread and displayed waiting for thecenema

First one from my wife NEW

I had been scheduled for a physical. The instructions included an enema the night before. Since we were married only about a year, I skipped it. When the doctor found out I did not have the enema, she told me to make a new appointment. When I told my wife she said I'll do it vice never given an enema but I'll do it
When the time came my wife was in the living room with a friend we knew for years. I waited expecting Lara would leave. Finally my wife said are you ready for your enema. I stammered now and turned red. Lara said of course. Your wife told me she was afraid to do it. Vim a nurse so I'll teach her. We went upstairs and I was on all fours with my head on a pillow totally exposed to them. She told my wife I'd probably have an erection when the water was in me. She had my wife practice lubricating my rectum and inserting and removing the nozzle. Then Lara gave me the enema while my wife watched. It was followed by my wife giving me another. I was embarrassed then and every time Lara was in our house. Now my wife is well accomplished at enemas but still often has Lara over to help. It's still embarrassing

Normally enema done before operation. This is going to help remove waste from human body. I found from custom essays on time this process is safe and followed around the world. There is no side effects with this process.
