colon cleanser detox juiceA good juicer can be your homemade multi-vitamin producer. With these juicer detox recipes you'll get a taste of how delicious some of these juices can be.

If you don't have a juicer, I recommend you look at the Omega Model 8005 Juicer. I have personally used it for almost 5 years and have absolutely nothing bad to say about it.

You could buy a cheap juicer, but they often have very destructive method of extracting the juice, some spin so fast that the heat destroys some of the nutrients in the juice.

#1 Wheatgrass Juice

Fresh wheatgrass juice is an extremely strong juice that detoxifies the liver, purifies the blood and helps the body protect itself against aging and disease.

You can usually find it at any juice bar (if you live near one) or grow your own and juice it. Make sure that the juicer you own or are planning to buy can juice wheatgrass (the Omega 8005 juices wheatgrass well).

 

#2 Flavonoid Super Drink

An extremely delicious way to get a lot of flavonoids and vitamin C is to juice:

  • 2 Oranges
  • 1 Grapefruit
  • 1 Lemon

You can change the amounts as much as you want. I usually prefer more oranges since they taste so good!

Sometimes I add in flaxseed oil which helps with some of my allergies, you might want to try that, just a teaspoon is enough.

 

#3 The Chlorophyll Recharger

If you don't eat enough greens (who does?) then this recipe will be a lifesaver. It doesn't taste great, so just get it down and enjoy the fact that your body loves you for it.

  • Celery
  • Wheatgrass
  • Cabbage
  • Spinach
  • Cucumber
  • Spirulina Powder

Juice all of the greens and then add spirulina powder. The spirulina can also be changed for chlorella or E3Live.

 

#4 Sweet Tooth Satisfier

This is one of my favorite juicer detox recipes when I start craving something sweet. It contains plenty of vitamins, minerals and enzymes.

  • 1 whole pineapple
  • 4 oranges
  • 1 carrot (to push out the pineapple and orange that's left!)

This usually makes a lot of juice, depending on where you live and the size of the fruits. I like to make about 30 ounces of juice each time to satisfy myself.
