Detoxify Your Colon With Fresh Juice!

A detox juice diet or juice fasting is a rocket ship to improved wellbeing and better colon health.

The longest juice fast I've done is about 2 weeks. It happened when I was living in Spain (mmm, the warmth) and I had nothing else to do than experiment and see what would happen with my body if I did different things.

Fasting is incredibly simple. Pick any fruit or vegetable that is juiceable (bananas aren't great, I've tried!).

Then buy a truckload of them!

Remember to include some veggies in there, they provide nutrients that you would otherwise miss if you're just juicing delicious fruits.

My personal way of doing this is to start my day with vegetable juice. I don't like mixing vegetables with my fruit juices because I think it ruins the sweet taste. It could be different for you, I recommend that you experiment!

The main thing I want to get across in this article is that if you want to do a juice fast you can do it in whatever way you please.

You can do it for 6 hours or for 30 days.

You can do it with just orange juice or with a mix of different juices.

It really doesn't matter, as long as you have a good juicer (I use the Omega 8005 Juicer) and drink freshly squeezed juice.

Fresh juice contains more nutrients and enzymes compared to juice that isn't so fresh (juice found in boxes in the supermarket). With each hour your juice sits on the table or in the fridge it becomes slightly less nutritious.

I am not saying that you can't store it. It is perfectly okay to pour your juice into a glass container if you don't have the time to juice 4-6 times a day.

If you decide to use containers I recommend that you fill the container as close to 100% as you can, less air means more nutrients for you.
