Colon spasms occur when your stomach muscles tighten by impulses sending messages to your muscles, just like normal muscle spasms.

If the spasms persist you can try keeping a food journal and record:

  • What you ate
  • What you drank
  • How much you ate and drank
  • How you were feeling (stressed, happy etc..)

This way you can figure out if it is the food that is causing your problems. If you want to do something right away then start eating a healthier diet with lots of fruits, vegetables, water and all that.

Try it for a week, throw all those not so healthy foods out or atleast lock them up and give the key to your dog!
