Colon Infection:
What You Need to Know

Our diets are to blame for most colon infections, if you eat a high-fat diet the fat actually helps bacteria grow.

This is the case in most of our diets today, it is high in fat and protein, and lacking in vital nutrients.

Another cause can be the use of too much antibiotics which can disrupt the normal function of your troops in your stomach!

I once got a nasty bowel infection when I was traveling in Turkey, I was extremely weak for several days and had to be hospitalized, luckily they had nice hospitals in Turkey.

I got it from eating ice cream! My dad and a friend who was with us got the same infection, but I was hit the hardest and still felt the after effects many months after we return home, ouch!

You can get a bowel infection by:

  • Eating spoiled food
  • Drinking bad water
  • From your infected loved one :)
  • Touching something and then touching your face
  • Having a weak immune system

Here's how you know if you might be infected:

  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea
  • Fatigue
  • Fever
  • Cramps
  • No Appetite

If you get anything like I had in Turkey you WILL know that it is serious. I was literally doing all those symptoms above simultaneously. It wasn't fun, I can tell you that!

If you have a mild infection you might experience some diarrhea and maybe feel a bit sick, if you don't feel the need for a doctor it could probably pass by just eating well and taking some probiotics.

Probiotics are always good to have handy, I keep one bottle at reach at all times. Probiotics provide you with friendly bacteria to fight off an infection, I also like taking it if I am traveling abroad, it helps my stomach cope with the new environment.

If in doubt though, see a doctor, better safe than sorry ;-).

It's pretty much impossible to prevent an infection from happening, sometimes they just happen! You eat something, you drink something, you never know.

You just have to deal with it if it happens, but precautions can be taken, for example:

  • Eating healthy (strengthens your immune system)
  • Eat your food fresh
  • Drink your water fresh
  • Avoid eating from hot-dog stands etc.

Common sense will guide you on this one. You can also strengthen your immune system with herbal colon cleansers.

One of the best ways to keep your body clean, healthy, and functioning properly is to do a colon cleanse.

DrFlorasColon cleanses can be done by just eating a strict healthy diet, or going on a juice fast.

You can also buy a professionally formulated herbal colon cleanse, which has been formulated to effectively and safely eliminate constipation, toxins, and clean your body..

I've done a lot of research on the best colon cleansers, and I have to say, there are a lot of bad ones out there. The one I think is best - and that I recommend - is DrFloras colon cleanse.

They even offer a long money-back guarantee in case it doesn't work for you.

I'm very careful with what I recommend. I only recommend products that are 100% natural, safe, and effective, which is why I really like DrFloras.
