Home Colon Cleanse

Doing your own at home colon cleanse can definitely be a good option if you do not feel comfortable doing it at a clinic or somewhere else.

Colon cleansing has been around for several thousand years in one form or another.

Some people cleanse religiously one time a month, while others only choose to do it once a year.

Listen to your own body and find out what it needs.

Before you start a cleansing regime I recommend that you check with your doctor if you have any special diseases or ailments that you think might cause complications.

There are several different paths you can take if you're interested in doing a cleanse from the comfort of your own home. The five big ones are:

• Diet

The Enema

The most popular and the one I think you're looking for though is the enema. An enema is basically a colonic, without the machinery and you do it from your own home.

It only takes a few hours to do compared to special diets and other cleanses.

Enema supplies can be bought at your local pharmacy or online. A kit can cost anywhere between $10 and $50 depending on what you want, but a normal one goes for around $10-20, so it is very cheap and affordable.

If you've never done an enema before I suggest you read my enema instructions and make a few Google searches on how it is done.

Improper use of enema equipment can lead to serious injuries. Almost all of the dangers can be avoided if enemas are done properly and the right equipment is used.

The best thing you can do is contact someone in your area that is familiar with enemas and colonics. Ask them to help you out on your first enema experience.

The Herbal Cleanse

I personally like using high-quality products that have been formulated by professional herbalists for maximum safety, efficiency, and affordability.

I believe that you should only cleanse a few times per year, which I do, so I don't have a problem spending a bit extra for a really good herbal cleanse.

There are a lot of them out there, so it's importan that you do your research. I currently recommend several, but I only have one number one.
